Hello out there in Tumblr Land…
*Crypt Keeper voice*Why hellooooo boys and ghouls!Yer’ old pal Chilly Willy here with another tale of impending DOOM!Eeeeeheehhheeeehheeeheeeeeee!…ahem…’scuse me,meds ain’t kicked in yet and I ain’t taken my last bong hit yet,but ANYWAY…if you’re reading this,like all of us within 13 hours from now your soul will be being raptured only to be chucked into the fires of Hades(Yes,I know Greek) faster than a jimmy at a Led Zeppelin concert back when they was still the sheeeit!Now,I don’t wanna say that I know the answer to that,but didn’t we hear that back in 2000,a lil’ debacle known as “Y2K”?Sure the world is gonna implode in on itself like the house in “The Poltergeist” cuz computers are gonna revert back time to when you could ride down,to the drive-in down the street,through the courtesy of Fred’s 2 feet?Sure,makes sense…fastforward to May 21st,2011,we’re all still here,and I haven’t clubbed a desirable mate over the head and dragged her to my cave(Like that episode of The Jersey Shore last week,CLASSIC!)in at least a few millenia,and now apparently the entire world is going to suffer a cataclysmic earthquake that brings on The Rapture(Think Biclical…not Blondie).Face it people,as humans we always gotta come up with something to be afraid of or panic nonsensically about so that we can focus our fears into something somewhat tangible and concrete.Now I’ve never claimed to be a saint OR 100% back up everything I was raised to believe in,but I’m preeeetty sure it’s common knowledge that the only person who knows the date of the end of the world is God,or whatever you might call God just to be fair to everyone out there who might not cater to any particular set of beliefs(Which btw is not a bad thing).People need to stop worrying about stuff that makes not a lick of sense but also learn to think for themselves as opposed to be akin to a sheep just following one group and whatever they preach or say.I’m alive,you’re alive,we will all still BE alive on Sunday,like The Beatles said “Let It Be”,besides,if we don’t have any more natural disasters how will the brilliant filmmaking team of Roland and Emmerich still have a career(Wait…oh yeaahhh…)?Till next time…you have been served!
